OVERVIEW
Musofy is a meticulously designed platform, created by a passionate music teacher and producer. It serves as a hub for music instructors to efficiently manage their students while providing music enthusiasts with an easy way to discover and schedule lessons.

Step 1 research & discovery
We start the process by understanding musofys value proposition, their proposition was a gap in the market. Music Teacher directories existed but there had not been a successful platform that offered not only a directory but a way to manage student bookings, and students to find and book teachers.
After the first discovery call, I conducted research into the industry & current market. And developed a brand strategy proposal to the client. This included competitors research, and an analysis of the Musofy product and the value it has in the current market and intended audience. From here we developed a mood board to establish the visual direction for the branding concept.
Step 2 development & iterations
Based on the client's feedback, I make necessary adjustments, incorporating their thoughts, suggestions, and preferences. We may explore different colour palettes, and typography options, or even experiment with alternative layouts. This back-and-forth dialogue helps to refine the concept, bringing it closer to the client's vision.
The iterative cycle continues as I present each new version to the client, seeking their input and incorporating their feedback until we achieve the desired outcome. At times, this process may involve multiple review rounds, allowing us to fine-tune every detail to capture the essence of the client's brand, message, or product.
While it may seem like a complex and time-consuming process, this collaborative and iterative approach guarantees that the final concept aligns not only with the client’s expectations and brings us into line with the initial research findings.
Step 3 conclusion
After 3 rounds of revisions, we finally circled back to an iteration of the 1st concept, the M was too obvious and didn’t communicate the brand positioning however the modernity and meaning of connection, transformation & convenience did show through with the paths overlapping. In the end we found a way to community “music” and “movement” through the final concept. Utilising a Clean typeface Poppins, with slight adjustments to give it an original look & feel paired with the logo mark. We created Musofy.
